The cali lilis called out their trumpets on this very morning as I walked through Burnaby Park
Hello and welcome I am self taught Artist/ Illustrator/ Surface Pattern Designer One of my proudest artistic moments was when the city made my art prints into lamppost banners. Bears and Eagles. The same year my Township displayed my endangered series at The Hatchery. Since then I have switched gears from mixed media to surface pattern design I hope you can find something resonating in my work that speaks to you. I enjoy simple things, nature walks, exercising my smile, spending time with my family and my black cat Thanks for taking the time to look around. Please Leave a comment or message me . Lovely light from above here, Kim.....love the contrast. I was in Burnaby Park 21 years ago next month in 1994. Early afternoon and a cool 72 degrees. A brief visit with someone I have not seen since....long lost...a final goodbye I suppose. It was an unforgettably beautiful day overlooking the waters and city...a 4,000 mile trip for 2 hours that seemed like 2 minutes now decades ago. FAV / Like
Kim Prowse replied:
Thank you so much for the FAV Jerry. I am pleased you saw the gardens in Burnaby, they are maintained with excellence, so much that, world known photographers frequently visit to capture the love. You were there for a short 2 hours, it holds a lasting 21 year impression. I framed this print myself and placed her in my hallway.
